Healing Through Nature

Garden of Growth oversees a portfolio of nature-based initiatives designed to expand access to therapeutic, educational, and community-based support for adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD), veterans, and other underserved populations in North Carolina.

These programs integrate person-centered habilitation, life skills development, and nature-based therapeutic experiences to promote independence, emotional well-being, and meaningful community participation. By leveraging Medicaid, VA, philanthropic, and private funding partnerships, Garden of Growth seeks to establish scalable, evidence-informed models that improve quality of life and reduce barriers to holistic care.
